There's no shortage of history in Nottingham Castle! Once a medieval fortress and now an elegant Ducal palace, the grounds are rife with amazing true tales, and legends of the renowned Robin Hood. The castle is full of fine art and decorations, including medieval alabaster, oil paintings, and Nottingham lace. It's not all rooted in the past though, you'll also see contemporary photography and world-class temporary exhibitions. If the kids are crazy about Robin Hood then they can get involved with mixed-reality activities about the legendary outlaw.
