Professional wine tasters may be known for wasting good wine by spitting it out and the floral language used in their almost impenetrable descriptions of the wines that they sample, but learning about wine doesn’t have to be a long-winded process. This experience can provide guests with as much as they need to know about selecting a bottle of wine that they will enjoy and the best way to bring out the flavours of a range of wines.This session will focus on Italian wines, and guests will get to taste five different types of wine, each paired with a cheese which will bring out its natural undertones. With guidance and advice from the experts, this is a chance to learn everything from how the grapes are chosen and grown to the best way to serve wines and what to eat with them to enhance their flavours.
